Green Parakeets
The University of Texas-Brownsville campus is a known evening roosting place for green parakeets. While the numbers of birds may be smaller in the summer, there were still quite a few when I was there. I was entertained by this pair.

What beautiful little birds! I do love their green color! Didn't know there were parakeets in the "wild"! Beautiful captures, Sally! Hope your week is going well!

Very nice photos! Love that color.
There is a huge grouping of wild parrots at a local university here. Major parrot and crow dogfight take place on a regular basis.
NOw those are new and different -- and beautiful.
