I think of the paint that used to be on those boards, and the wind and rain that took it off. I think of the farmer who mended it, kept hay in it and cows and horses too.
The ladder going up the side really does say charming! I almost missed the little girl in the corner of the image. She certainly adds to the charm and furthers my very first thought of a fairytale barn. :)

No wonder that's still a favorite; it could easily become one of mine -- I love abandoned buildings as subject matter, so many stories hidden there.
I like this...
I love the ladder going up to the top. What a neat place.

That is a wonderful photo of a grand building.
That is a dandy shot. Love the memories it must have. I like buck's take on it too. MB
Hi Sally,
What a great photo. I almost missed the sweetie in the corner; she is like a little angel in white. It is fun to see your NW pictures.
Have a great week,
Kathy

Great photo! Love the weathered boards...and the peek at the blue sky through the roof.
Ohhh very cool! I love the stairs, but I wonder what they were used for?! It's a mystery! =)
Thanks so much for joining in! =)
I see a long stairs. Hmmm I wondered what could be the story behind it. Love barn stories. Thanks for the visit!
