Weekend Reflections - Jelly

When we were at Nehalem Beach State Park in Oregon on New Year's Day, we were able to spend some time on the beach with the dogs. I noticed the reflection of Jelly in the wet sand and quickly snapped her picture before she bolted away to chase after Buddy.

That's a great reflection. Looking at Jelly, I'd assume she has a lot of energy, making this shot that much more difficult.

The lighting in this photo looks like it was painted on with rich gold oils... The stop-action appearance of Jelly together with the wet sand reflection is just perfect.

I love this one!

Jelly is pretty! Nice reflection and I love his(her?) stance and posture.

P.S. I never get tired of the Eastern Sierra, it is very lovely, year round.

He looks very proud of himself, I think he knows he's going to catch the other dog! People and their dogs always have such fun on the beach, it's really made for them!!
