The picture looks a little hazy due to stagnant air. We haven't had much of a breeze with the cold spell and the mountains are trapping stagnant air around the Puget Sound area. We currently have a burn ban in effective that includes no burning in wood-burning fireplaces, stoves or inserts unless it is the only source of heat for the home.

We have had gorgeous blue skies, haven't we, Sally! This is a gorgeous capture! We haven't had as much trouble with the stagnant air where we are so I am enjoying the sun and blue skies even though it's soooooo cold! But it's all about to change!

Have a great weekend!

Sylvia

Nice shot, Sally. These cold crisp days really bring the mountains out don't they. Excellent. MB

Beautiful sky and snow capped mountain! Our weather shifts rapidly here this time of year. A small shift in the jet stream and the cold slips by to the north or the rain/snow storm goes quietly out to sea.

Majestic, - the blues and icy whites are quite beautiful.

Very beautiful view! How interesting you have a burn band, which I assume is because the air is not pure. I wish we had such bans here... although I know I see and capture lovely sunsets because the air is full of smog.

Like those snow caps up there!

I had some computer glitches last week, so just catching up today. Such beautiful photos -- all the way back to the one on the swans. Those are amazing. I want to come visit your pond!

Take care -- stay warm -- thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
