Barn Charm - Abandoned

This is another look at a barn I posted for a meme in May 2009. Its always been a favorite of mine.

No wonder that's still a favorite; it could easily become one of mine -- I love abandoned buildings as subject matter, so many stories hidden there.

I love the ladder going up to the top. What a neat place.

I think of the paint that used to be on those boards, and the wind and rain that took it off. I think of the farmer who mended it, kept hay in it and cows and horses too.

That is a wonderful photo of a grand building.

The ladder going up the side really does say charming!
I almost missed the little girl in the corner of the image. She certainly adds to the charm and furthers my very first thought of a fairytale barn. :)
