Long-billed Curlew

Birding in Texas is fun! New species to see like this long-billed curlew. The bird guides say that this bird winters here, but it is the middle of summer and they are still in the Brownsville area! I guess they like the heat or something. :)

I looked at your title and thought, "Curlews in eastern Washington?" but, okay, Texas makes more sense.
Super photo, Sally.

I saw them during winter. Wonder why they're hanging around. Do they know something we don't. How are the temps?

We spent some time as Winter Texans and those were the best birding years I ever had! (We were in Port Aransas usually, but also in the Mission Valley one time).

Wow, it was just unfortunate that I didn't see any of these curlews when I was in Brownsville last summer. I hope next year then.

But, how do you know if an ending is truly good for the characters unless you've traveled with them through every page?Cheap Flights to Douala
