Happenings from the Chicken Dance Ranch
Mt. Baker is spectacular in this fine landscape. I like the horizontal cloud covering the mountain. This gives an added sense of depth to the shot. Well done.
GORGEOUS shot of Baker! I agree with Don-- I like all the layers in this picture; the line of bare deciduous trees, the strip of green firs, the streak of cloud. It pleases the eye.

So long as the snow stays on the mountain, it's all good!
Happy holidays to you and yours, thanks for adding to our Sky Watch party with this wonderful view.
Love Mt. Baker. Great snow pack!
What a view! Happy Holidays!Joyce M
It looks so close, yet far away. Definitely winter on Baker. Nice shot.
Oh, I love pictures of Baker. I don't know how many times I've run to get the camera, only to find out the mountain has disappeared. This photo shows why that happens - the cloud hovers around the top, and it comes, then it goes, then it comes again. Part of Mount Baker's many charms. Thanks for telling me about your verification word "whouckay" - who you see, Kay? often applied to me, my camera, and Mount Baker when I lived in White Rock, BC.All the best for Christmas and the coming year.-- Kay, Alberta, Canada (we're home from Hawaii)An Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
