Barn Charm - Skagit Gem

It's Monday which means it's time for Barn Charm. Hosted by Tricia at Bluff Area Daily, come barn hopping with us by clicking on the barn logo below.

I found this charmer in the Skagit Valley over the weekend. I like the cleanliness of it. So much so I turned around after passing by it just so I could take a picture on the side of a busy road. It is actually a very pale green color but it doesn't show well in the photo. Bummer. I was so excited about seeing this barn I forgot to check my camera settings before snapping away. Oh well, it is still a fine looking barn.

This is definitely a gem of a barn. It puts ours to shame. Our tim roof leaks and we need to fix it before anymore rotting takes place. This old farm is over 100 years old, so everything seems to be breaking down a bit. It is constant trying to keep up with it all. And, we are not farmers!!!!! This is a great shot.

A gem of a barn indeed! I love it! And I can see the green color -- its very soft, but visible and it's beautiful! Terrific capture, Sally! Enjoy your evening!

It's a beauty, Sally. What a nice barn to spot and stop to get a shot. It's fun to see a barn so well maintained and in such good shape. Nice post.

Dilapidated barns neglected in former farmyards have their charm. But it is nice to see wonderfully maintained barns such as the one in your photo. Life seems functional and well cared for in your world. :)

Lovely barn and beautiful shot. The Skagit Valley has such a variety of barns. I still have a big backlog from our trip last month. I'll get to spend a few days there in early April and I hope the tulip fields will be in full bloom.
