Balancing Act

Karl took me to a really neat site not too far from the CDR this past weekend. It was fenced, likely to keep the cattle out so they don't try to rub against it.

 Looking Up

Wow!

We also picked up our first ticks of the season hiking up there. Or down. Either way...ICK!

That is a WOW! The only balance rock that big I've ever seen is in the Moab Canyon in Utah. (And here we could have visited one right in our own Pacific Northwest!)

That is an amazing sight to see. Nice shots of it. I can't imagine how it's managed to stay balanced over the years it took for this to develop.

Our version of that rock in Utah. I've never had the fun of getting ticks. You can keep those.

Hush, Hush :-) LOL.....I had forgotten about the darn ticks, and today I was walking in the grasses taking pictures per usual. Guess I need to do the nitetime check ASAP! This rock reminds me of Stonehenge for some reason. I guess it is the giant balancing thing. Whatever it is, the shot is a great one and one I would love hanging on the wall. Super photography.
