"Easter" Ball Hunt at the CDR

The Chicken Dance Ranch has its own driving range. The front yard. The one main drawback is that you have to go find the balls yourself if you want to hit more when the bucket is empty. We have discovered a perfect time to hunt for missing golf balls - after the snow melts and before the grasses grow. Because we had so much snow this winter, the grass was matted down and made spotting the missing orbs easier.

 Very Visible

Some are close...

Some are far...

Darn! Another snow patch faked me out!

Saturday's Haul

Total for the weekend - 40! It sure would be easier if we could chip the balls and then have some kind of gadget to help locate them.

A clapper for golf balls. Genius. They probably would cost more, but I'd bet there is a market for them.

GPS golf balls would probably make you some $$. Looking kind of bleak at the CDR.

Hey, that's quite a collection of golf balls!! It looks as gray and grumpy at the CDR as it does here in Seattle! I'm not sure I'll recognize the sun when it finally returns!! I'll probably run and hide! Can't afford to do that though as there's a good chance I'll be moving next weekend!! Sure hope the weather cooperates just a little at least! Have a great weekend!

Maybe teach one of your critters to fetch them? :)

Go fetch, tuffy. Dogs would do the job.
How about a tiny chip inside with a signal. Go for it. MB
