Running Fast

Recent rains and warmer temps have the snow in the mountains rapidly melting. All of this water has to go somewhere and fast it goes!

What a terrific capture, Sally! I do love the swift water -- well, seeing it from a distance!! Wouldn't want to get caught in it! I do hope you can get up to Seattle again soon! Would love to see you!

The awesome energy of this swift water is palpable. You've frozen a moment of that in your image that truly comes through. Will you be spending more time on the east side this summer?

Gorgeous shot of the spring thaw, Sally. It's late enough in the year that it shouldn't mean flooding. I love seeing all that white water amidst the rocks and the greenery.

Colorado rivers were the same and lots of runoff streams. That's good I think.
