Skywatch Friday - Sunrise

One of the benefits (or downfalls depending on how you look at it) of being at the Okanogan house is no TV. We normally go to bed early and get up early the next morning. Early enough to enjoy the sunrise.

On this particular morning, the sky was brightening and then the sun looked like fire as it crested the ridge.

Wait for it!
Here it comes!

Hehehe! Well, I think NOT having a TV is a real PLUS. :) I watch the evening news at 9pm for an hour and that's just about it.

These are gorgeous sky photos, Sally!

Oh my, that was lovely, - couldn't you have sent it a little way North - we are very dull here in the Similkameen.

The sunrises are great, but the wonderful blue light of the header photo outshines them, in a way. And no TV is only a blessing, to my mind.

Just beautiful! I see you mention Winthrop and Twisp in your entries, which do you live in? I ADORE that area. We lived there for 2.5 years and are pondering moving back. I just love the energy of the Methow! Always great to meet someone else that spends time in that area.

Breathtaking Sally! I have such mixed feelings about TV. Your post sure makes the case for not having one (at least part of the time)....

Glad you had your camera!
