Green

Everything is still so green at the CDR because of the amount of rain we've had. I am enjoying while I still can. Soon the hot days of summer will dry the grasses out and fire season will be in full swing.

We're enjoying the green while we can, too, Sally. Spring was so late in coming that we tend to forget about summer, but the truth is it will be a long time hot here on the prairie!

Lovely green! I'll be happy to loan you some of ours -- and of course, the rain that goes along with it!! Ah, but we've two sunny days in a row and they're promising another one for tomorrow, but we'll see! I finally got a great, clear shot of Mt. Rainier! Enjoy the rest of your weekend, Sally!

Hello.
My name is Echo, and I used to live in the San Juan Islands in Anacortes Washington. I am glad to see that other people have such a strong passion for its beauty.

However, I am also an artist and I googled one of your pictures. The one that is captioned: Looking Northeast Towards Mount Baker and the Northern Tip of Hat Island. I was wondering if you would allow me to sketch and pain that, with full credential to you, of course.

Just let me know. My email is: echothomas@msn.com
