Mellow Yellow Monday #17 - Mule Ears

These pretty flowers are growing wild around our property in the Okanogan area. We spent the weekend there and they are blooming everywhere! I believe they are called Mule Ears or Mule's Ear because of the shape of the leaves.

Such beautiful yellow flowers.

I love that part of the country. Grew up in Seattle, then spent six years in Spokane.

Thanks for stopping by

Great pictures - sorry I missed you this weekend. My family was in town, so I wasn't home most of the time - then you'd already left on Sunday. Will HAVE to catch you next time!

Beautiful blossom with an intriguing name. It seems to be a hardy plant. Thanks for sharing. I played at Happily Retired Gal and Small Reflections on Monday but haven't had time to visit until today.
Hugs and blessings,
