Our first visit to the cabins this year

We spent the weekend at our property near Okanogan. It felt good to sit outside and listen to the sounds of nature without traffic noise in the background. We got some rain and wind Saturday night, but the weather wasn't too bad the rest of the weekend.

Everything was in good shape after the winter months. We do have a small mice problem in the little cabin we will have to deal with though.

The dogs had a blast running around the property, especially Jelly as she tried to catch a marmot.

Catch me if you can!

This morning we had a very nice sunrise.

Trees in the mist

Our neighbors' horses

It was a shame to have to come home, but we'll be back!

Those trees appeared from the mist like samurais in a Kurosawa-movie. Spooky deja-vu.
Funny, little and fast rock "creature" (can´t find the word).
