Camera Critters - Best Buds

I forgot their names, but know the little one was a rescue found on the side of the road eleven years ago. I thought they were cute sitting on the beach like this.

Camera Critters #74 - Water Baby

A few weekends ago when I had that little beach to myself with the dogs on Banks Lake, I was very surprised by how much Jelly loved the water. To the point where she just laid at the edge of the surf and soaked up the sun while the tiny wavelets lapped around her.

Little Buddy even went swimming and I was shocked. Too bad I didn't have the camera with me to get a picture of that!

Camera Critters #71 - Chipmunks 36, Jelly 0

Captured by my husband a few weekends ago...

Hey, I smell a chipmunk.

What's all this dust? What are you doing, Jelly?
I'm going in!

I'll get you yet, you tasty little morsel!

Umm, all I got was dirty. Mom's gonna be mad.

Camera Critters #68 - Wasp at Work

These things aren't my friends due to being allergic. Thank goodness he was otherwise occupied and didn't mind me taking his picture.

Camera Critters #66 - Ahh, Grasshopper

The fields around the Okanogan house are filling up fast with grasshoppers again.

Last year, I thought they were a nuisance. This year the grasshoppers became photo opportunities. :-)

While the photo quality is nowhere near as good as koand's, he sure was an inspiration for me to take these pictures. Dziękuję bardzo, koand!

Camera Critters #65 - Buzz Buzz

This little fellow was hard to capture. He kept flitting between the flowers, which I think were morning glories.

Yummmm...tasty!

Camera Critters #64 - Flying Beauty

This critter was hanging out in my garden earlier this week. I would imagine it is some kind of dragonfly, but I honestly don't know. I liked his wings. They were so transparent.

Camera Critters #61- Look Closely

You'll have to look closely to find the critter in this one. He did a pretty good job of blending into his surroundings.

While we were over at the Okanogan property last weekend, the wildflowers were in bloom. This little guy enjoyed them, too.
