Happenings from the Chicken Dance Ranch
Not allergic but still don't like being stung by these critters as it hurts really bad. Have a great weekend.
Watch out for the ones behind you then!:-)How to have larger photos? Here is my tutorial: http://chrome3d.blogspot.com/2009/06/how-to-get-bigger-photos-to-blogger.html
That's a great capture. You are very brave. Not allergic and haven't been stung in years. They do have an efficient defense when harrassed.
Great closeup... :-)I have noticed quite a few hanging around my garden. I'm not allergic to them, however my oldest son is. I used to have to carry medication with me, in case he was stung.
Amazing close up without getting stung.
Excellent closeup of the little stinger! The sting really does hurt.My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Wonderful photo. I have the same yarrow and love it.
They were bugging me at lunch today.
I'm allergic, too but love to see them at work. Nice photo. Thanks.
He sure looks intent on what he's doing. Great shot!
He's pretty but I wouldn't want him close to me either :)My camera critter is here today
You got a really nice picture and I'm glad that it didn't cost you a sting...oops I mean thing. :-)
Sally: Those wasps can be really mean guys.
Marvelous macro! I once stepped on a wasp and it hurt like blazes so when I find nests in my eaves these days I tend to zap them and that keeps the population under control. Wasps LOVE my citrus trees ;--)Hugs and blessings,
I'm allergic too, you are a brave soul. I will take bees all day but those guys are a little too agressive.Beautiful photo, he is a pretty one.SQ
That's a really great close up!
I guess wasps can pollinate plants just as bees can, so I hope they are doing some good while not stinging you.Find my Camera Critters for this week HERE.
