Skywatch Friday #31 - Mount Baker

Taken last Saturday near Edison, WA while I was out eagle spotting. There were patches of fog throughout the morning hours.

Stunning! I miss Mt Baker (And Eagles) so much. Used to live in Skagit Valley, and now I live down in Oregon's Willamette valley.

Lovely scenery and sky. I loved living in Washington State, and having the mountains so close by.

Beautiful colors and composition. I'll be heading up to Skagit County over spring break. I'm hoping to see the tulip fields. Hi from Cal.

Beautiful amber waves of grain. Not quite a purple mountain, but still majestic.

Valentine Wheat! I love it!

We had a huge eagle out in our pine yesterday but an osprey swooped in from overhead to sit on the same branch before I could get the camera battery loaded.

There is an orange grove right below they both seem to enjoy. Must be watching the fruit rats.
