Skywatch Friday #38 - Arlington, WA

We've had another week of rain and even some snow. Here's a few shots of the gray skies in Arlington this afternoon on my way home from work.

Hi, this looks like our corner of the world too; we've been getting the same weather. I like the skyline with cupolas and vanes.

A cold and forbidding looking sky. It looks like a good day to stay in.

Love that glowering looking sky.

We had a lot of those gray skies, too. I was lucky to get the clear day for sunrise. Love your last shot of the clouds over the mountains!

I am tired of the rain, the gray, the occasional snow. My body says"Got Sun"? MB

Sally: Sometimes when you need the rain this is a blessing but I know Washington gets its share. The sun will come out soon.

Great eye for a picture of boring grey skies! We've had it here too - your cabins not any better!! LOL! That hardware store is awesome!

Great shots of some heavy clouds there, when is spring going to come? just read your profile, So do you have a Rv? That was our dream as well, but stuck here till things pick back up to sell.

At least your grey skies have definition. I think they are pretty.

Lilli & Nevada - Yes, we have a truck camper that gets a lot of use! It's too small to full-time in, so we'll have to get something larger when that time comes.

Low clouds over the mountains looks good to me. Some weeks just are like that.

Thanks for visiting, fellow (sister?) Washingtonian. The middle photo is just a perfect rendition of the feel of this rainy time of year, and a really nice photo to boot.

We had similar clouds yesterday evening here on the Plateau in Tennessee. But we don't have such an interesting hardware store in our town. I hope you (and we) see some sunshine soon.
Thanks for visiting my site.

That's a CUTE hardware store. Beats the big box stores we have down here. By the way, I'm heading up to Washington tomorrow so I will bring SUNSHINE with me! Very moody skies you've got there!

I like the pic in the midlle. Must be 'cause I work in a place very similar to that. Unfortunetly the weather wasn't that good. But it makes a great SWF-pic. You have a pleasant day!

Quite a menacing sky, but I love the contrast with the cheerful red hardware store and its weathervanes. Great shot over the mountains too!
