Super Saturday

Oh what a glorious day it has been so far! The sun has been shining and the temps are close to 60 degrees F.

On my way home from running errands, the mountains were standing tall in the sunshine. After all of the overcast or rainy days we've had of late, I haven't seen the mountains much. Of course I had to pull over and take a picture.

The mountain to the far left is Whitehorse and to the far right is Three Fingers. I just love seeing them with fresh snow since there has been a fair amount of it in the past week at higher elevations. They keep some snow year round as both have glaciers.

Once home, I took advantage of the nice weather to give the car a bath. The winter grime and dirt is gone! However, not too long after washing and drying it, there was a fine layer of yellow pollen on the car. Oh well, at least it LOOKS clean from a distance. :-)

I even vacuumed it out, including the trunk, and washed the windows inside. We are ready for our Monday morning commute. Won't our carpooler be surprised?

Hope you are enjoying your day!

I live up in Ferndale, WA and its like someone turned on the on switch to allow Spring to arise. I am so excited that we will be getting a series of sunny days. Everything will be greening up so quickly now. Yay.

When we have frost in the morning it seems it will be a good sunny day. It sure was.
Yes the garden fair was at the fairgrounds. You should have come on over and you know what----we should meet someday. MB
