The trials and tribulations of job hunting are over! I was offered a new job yesterday and accepted the position today. Actually, I had two offers over the past week, one within my current company and one outside. I opted for the in-house position for a couple of reasons but I think I chose wisely. Let's hope so!
I'll miss the travel to Europe that was part of my current job, but that job was being phased out any way. I'm told I will still have some travel within the U.S. and that's okay, too. More photo opportunities. :-)
It is just a relief to know that I will still be employed in the coming weeks. Whew!

The very best of luck!
Like to know more about your Ripken cards. I have thousand over the years and I´m placing them in my blogs little by little hoping that The Iron Man himself, one day will notice. Even though I´m a big Ripken collector, I never saw him playing. I attended College at Michigan Tech in upper Michigan and my favorite team by them were the late 70´s Brewers. Paul Molitor, Young, Thomas, Ben Oglivie, Sixto Lezcano and others...
Nice to hear that you still have employment. In this uncertain economic climate that is certainly worth something.
Good luck to your new job:) It sure is not easy to find one nowadays.
