Mellow Yellow Monday #27 - Final Bloom
Not many flowers are left at the Okanogan house. It's getting too dry and the flowers are dying out. I was able to find this lone soldier still reaching for the sun.

I hope you gave that lone soldier some water! She's so sweet.
It's always so sad when things start to brown out. We're in Oregon and the grasses are now brown here as well.
It looks a little lonely, but that makes it stand out all the more.

That is such a cheerful looking flower ...a little sad that it's the last one..
Mine are struggling to flower right now ...it's been a weird start to summer. Spring was hotter. i think the poor thigs are a trifle confused... :-)
She's alone and lost a few petals but still standing tall and still beautiful!
