Shadow Shot Sunday #64 - The Sod Farm

I pass a sod farm every day on my way to work. I finally stopped one morning to capture the irrigation system that they use and noticed a cool shadow on the grass.

Thanks for the close-up and it´s fun shadows.

Last spring I had to draw an irrigation system with a vector graphics software and it was difficult to find good enough close-ups like this to use as a resource material. Now I wish I had seen this before!

Most people would've just driven by and given just a second glance at this old machine...not us shadow shooters...we saw the art of it...very cool catch!!!

very cool catch indeed! this photo really keeps your eye moving along it - it's hard to believe that the shadow comes from the irrigation machine - yep - we like it!!

This is wonderful ... a sight I seldom see (except when traveling) and one I'm not sure I've ever photographed. Love it! Thanks for visiting my shadows at Happily Retired Gal ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

This reminds me of the irrigation we have in the Philippines.

I love sitting there, staring at the water in a warm and humid day. What a nostalgic moment.

TY for sharing and have a wonderful SS

THAT'S an interesting shadow. Now I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for shadows made by irrigation sprinklers!

Great shot! So many times people just THINK about stopping to take that interesting photo -- not many actually DO. Glad you did!

Before I read your post I noticed the irrigation wheel over the shadow. After reading I have to say these two embodiments make for an interesting photo. I really like this pic. Have a great night.
